About us

FET Viewer is a web application for schools that make their timetable with FET, the free timetabling software. It opens the file that FET saves and turns it into a timetable that people can read, share, print and show on a screen.

What FET Viewer does

• View and filter. See the whole school week, or the week of one teacher, one class or one room.
• Edit and check. Change activities, teachers, rooms and rules. The pre-flight check finds rules that make the timetable impossible, before you start a long generation in FET.
• Share. Send each person a link that shows only what they need.
• Print and display. Print the timetable, put it on your website, or show it on a screen in the school.
• Download back to FET. The file you download keeps the values you imported, so you can continue your work in FET.

What it does not do

FET Viewer does not generate the timetable. FET does that. FET Viewer is an independent service. It is not part of the FET project, and the FET project does not endorse it.

Who it is for

FET Viewer is for timetable officers, school managers and teachers. It works in a web browser on a computer, a tablet or a phone. You can check a FET file or try the demo without an account.

Plans

A free account lets you import, view and share a timetable. Paid plans add larger timetables and more features. Payments are one-off; nothing renews on its own. See Pricing.
