Help The timetable app
The timetable app
- The timetable view The main screen — what the grid shows, the three controls above it, the unassigned drawer, and the menu everything else lives in.
- Filtering the grid Narrowing a whole-school week down to the part you care about — the six facets, matching any or all, and the free-room finder.
- The Lens How the same timetable is drawn — pivoting the axes, the detail slider from heat map to full detail, colour, and overlays.
- Working with a lesson Hover, click, double-click and right-click each do something different — what they do, and what the lesson card tells you.
- Moving a lesson Dragging lessons around the week — placing from the drawer, what a double lesson needs, and whether the app should let you create a clash.
- Planner mode Ask the app where one lesson could go. It answers in a sentence, ranks the slots, and when nothing fits it names what is in the way.
- Browse mode Step through one teacher's, room's or class's week at a time, with arrows — for checking a whole staff list without filtering thirty times.
- Finding conflicts The conflict report — what each kind of problem means, which ones are advisory, and what dismissing one actually does.
