Managing your account

Your profile, your password, which emails you get, and how to have your account removed.

Your account settings are reached from the user menu in the top-right corner of any page, under Edit Profile.

Your profile

The account form holds your email address, your password, your site language, your time zone and a profile picture. The picture is optional and is not asked for at sign-up — add one here if you want it.

Your email address is also your sign-in name, so changing it changes how you sign in. Only the part before the @ is ever displayed; the address itself is not shown publicly.

Your password

Change it on the same form. If you cannot sign in at all, use the forgotten-password link instead: you are emailed a secure, single-use sign-in link that lets you set a new one without knowing the old one.

Which emails you receive

Under Email preferences there is a single choice: Product news & announcements. Turn it off and you stop receiving occasional updates about new features.

Receipts, payment notices and expiry reminders are always sent, whatever this is set to.

Those are the messages you need in order to use the account at all — a payment receipt, a reminder that access is about to end — so they are not something you can be opted out of by accident.

The Unsubscribe link at the bottom of a newsletter does exactly the same thing as this checkbox. The two cannot disagree, so it does not matter which one you use.

Deleting your account

There is no self-service delete button. Ask through the contact form and it will be handled for you.

It is worth knowing what deletion means here, because it is thorough: your timetables and everything inside them, your subscriptions and payment records, your print presets, your share links, your backups, your institution profile, your staff email list, your assistant chats and your email preferences are all removed. Nothing is reassigned to an anonymous owner.

One record stays, without your name: the assistant's usage count (which AI model answered and how many words it used). It holds no question and no answer.

If any of that matters to you, take it with you first — download your timetables as .fet files before asking.
